Henry Jurek II, Donna Jurek, Henry Jurek III
Jurek Builders began in 1972 as the dream of Henry Jurek II and his wife Donna. Henry started his career as an interior trim carpenter for other builders. He went on to build and sell his first home. Henry and Donna turned that into a family business.
Jurek Builders began building custom homes in the Meadow Lakes subdivision in Clarence in the 1980s, creating 70 custom homes. Those homes were part of the area’s first home show, Field of Dreams. Jurek then built 90 homes in Spaulding Lake beginning in 1993, as well as others in Renaissance Park in Amherst.
Henry Jurek III began working for the family business by sweeping jobsite homes at age eight. Over the years he has worked in every role, learning the business from the ground up. Today he is proud to carry on the legacy his parents began.
Donna was the backbone of the business until her death in 2020, and Henry Jr. and Sr. credit her with much of their success and keep her memory alive in all that they do. The business is and will always be family run and operated, with careful attention to detail.
